Remember a few post back I mentioned that I would love to get my hands on a camera, well, my hopes got dashed a lil bit. Talked to my mum about it and she said collect your own money, a slight words of encouragement. Then talked to my dad, he asked me, "what about your laptop then?". okay laptop but then I asked when am I getting it, before or after I get in uni and he said after. So I told him then there is no problem with me getting a camera before that right?

dad : Why do you want the camera so much?

me : Cos I think I want to take up a new hobby.

dad : How much would a camera cost?

me : Second-hand..around 1k plus.(cos I knew a first hand one would be totally out of reach)

dad : You want to get an item that is second-hand for that price??

me : Well first-hand would cost a lot more plus my friend told me that its the shop that rates the camera as a second-hand or first-hand.

dad : I think your brother is going to get one and why not share it with him..


okay, so I kinda get the idea that he thinks I shouldn't get a camera cos they were gona get me a laptop. okay fine I can get the money but not all of it but most of it so they would just have to throw in a little bit. and why would I wana share with my eldest cos obviously when he gets his camera, he would bring it back to Egypt when he goes back. So, I might not get it at all. cos if camera, then no laptop.
